A dream that has been becoming all the more clear and now a reality! Non-profit care farming on our few acres in Middletown, Delaware, we are looking to build a community of healthy living and emotional wellness through the restorative effects of nature. And where better, than on a farm!!

With the animals here at Grateful Acres as well as the human community, we are utilizing the connection to nature to help balance our emotional wellness. "Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical well-being, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.", as described by the University of Minnesota.
